Program Descriptions & Admissions Requirements

Program Description: In 42 semester hours, students learn to manage and lead organizations.  The program begins with management fundamentals, then progresses through the C-Suite:  Marketing, Research and Development, Information Technology, Operations, Legal Affairs, Finance, and the Chief Executive Office.  The program is a hands-on, integrative, interdisciplinary degree designed to create independent, lifelong learners who are Business-Ready to assume leadership positions. The College of Business is fully accredited by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business-International Association for Management Education.

Required Standardized Test: A minimum score of 450 is generally required on the GMAT.

Minimum Admissions Requirements: In addition to an acceptable GMAT score, applicants must submit transcripts showing completion of an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning with an undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 or higher.   Greater weight is placed on grades during the last two years of an undergraduate degree program.  In addition to those with an undergraduate degree in business, the program encourages applications from students who have completed degrees in other fields.

Additional Admissions Criteria:  Full-time work experience in a managerial or professional role will be considered in admissions by the MBA Program Director.  Higher GMAT scores may offset lower undergraduate grades.  Entry into the program is usually by cohort and special criteria may apply for the cohorts.

Application Deadline: Applications accepted for fall and spring semesters.
March 1 - Graduate Assistantship
July 15 - Fall Enrollment
Nov 15 - Spring Enrollment

Prerequisites: There are no required prerequisite courses, but strong analytical and communications skills are required.  A review of undergraduate transcripts, GMAT scores, and classroom performance may lead to requirements for additional courses or training in communications and analysis, including mathematics.
