Students who attend the free program get a sneak peak at life at Western, including a tour of the campus and interaction with current students and staff during panel discussions, information sessions and social activities. Students also have a chance to stay in the residence halls and eat in Western’s dining facilities.
Any high school or transfer student who has been accepted for admission, or who is eligible for admission, is invited to participate in the program.
Experience Western is a collaboration involving the university’s offices of Admissions, Academic Affairs and Student Affairs to aid in the recruitment of a diverse student body. Students may register for the program at this Web site: http://www.wcu.edu/studentd/enrollmentsupport/expwestern.asp.
