Course description: This course is designed to provide teachers with a broad base of knowledge to support their efforts to respond to the diverse instructional needs of their students. Participants will explore diversity with respect to ways of learning, generate strategies for differentiating instruction, examine approaches to assessment that support these strategies, and relate these approaches to content area standards. The course will be offered in a blended fashion with five face to face sessions and online interactions. Participants may choose to focus on one content area to meet requirements for graduate degrees.
Course schedule: June 2 – July 2. Meetings each Tuesday from 5:00-8:00
