Installing SciFinder Scholar
1) Read these instructions to get started: Getting Started with SciFinder Scholar (PDF File)
2) Download this file:

Save this file to your Desktop. Doubleclick on sfs2007.exe to install the SciFinder software. Follow the prompts. NOTE: Click "No" when asked about "Custom Site Files." Click "No" for "SciFinder Toolbar." |

Save this file to your Desktop. Doubleclick on scholar-osx.dmg to install the SciFinder software. Follow the prompts. NOTE: Click "No" when asked about "Custom Site Files." |
3) Download this file:

Windows and Macintosh |
|
Copy the site.prf file into the main SciFinder folder on your hard drive and overwrite the current site.prf file. |
FOR WINDOWS USERS ONLY:
4) Download ViewerLite (a visualization tool that allows you to view 3D molecular models for structure results):

Save this file to your Desktop. Doubleclick on ViewerLite50_4cas.exe to install the SciFinder software. Follow the prompts. |
5) Download the software patch with the latest enhancements:

Unzip the file and copy the unzipped items (.dll files) into C:\Program Files\Accelrys\ViewerLite50 |
