This research guide is a starting point for biology research.  You can use Getting Started to find out where to go to get good overviews and quick information – this is excellent for that topic about which you don’t know very much.  Find Books/Media and Find Articles help you figure out how to use the catalog (for books and videos) and the databases (scholarly articles, newspaper items, etc).  Find Articles also takes you to a list of “best” databases for biology. How Do I covers common questions you may have, such as "How do I cite a source?" or "How do I get things not at Hunter Library?"
