How to Submit Reserve Requests

Hunter Library's Reserve program provides convenient access to various materials provided by Faculty or found within Hunter Library to supplement their curricula.

Forms

All forms may be filled in online and submitted electronically via email, or printed out and returned manually. You may also print out blank copies of these forms and fill them in later.

Choose a form by clicking its link below, and enter the necessary information. To print out a copy of the completed form, click the PRINT button located at the bottom of the form.

To send the information by email, click the SUBMIT BY EMAIL button and follow the instructions. With this option the prompt will state that the form will not be sent, but the data you have entered will be received for processing.

Course Reserve Request Form - Use for books or personal items

Course Reserve Request Form - for articles and book excerpts in photocopy or electronic format

Course Media Reserve Request Form - Use for videos, DVDs or music CDs

Course Media Booking Request Form - Use to book and hold media for a specific class date

All reserves that need to be available the first week of the semester must be at the Reserve Processing Room (behind the Circulation Desk) 2 weeks prior to the first day of classes.  After the first week of classes, we can usually process material within a week.

At the end of each semester, all materials will be removed from reserve unless you notify us that you will be teaching the same class the next semester.  You will need to update the appropriate form for any material you plan to keep on reserve.
