Mission Statement:
We, the women of the Western Carolina University Panhellenic Council, stand for dedication to each other through cooperative sisterhood. We strive to uphold the values of philanthropy, scholarship, leadership, community service, and ritual. We will devote time and resources to the development of every chapter and individual while fostering friendly relations to unite our chapters, our Panhellenic Council, our campus, local communities, and beyond.
Code of Ethics:
As a Panhellenic community, it is our goal to promote high morals and standards of conduct, such as value, trust, and honor, which are vital to the success of both the individual and the community. Personal integrity and responsibility will be held to the utmost as we know that as a community, this is imperative to the personal growth of each woman. We believe that we should celebrate each woman and her differences and offer graciousness in daily living, constantly striving to improve our hearts and minds, while keeping a balance between both.
As a Panhellenic community, we will strive to hold ourselves to a higher standard through leadership and personal development, achieving excellence both academically and intellectually. In order to obtain academic excellence, we will utilize all Panhellenic members and other available resources on campus and in the community. We will strive to be an organization that demonstrates growth and strong leadership within our community, modeling acceptable behavior at all times.
As a Panhellenic community, we strive to seek the heights in all that we do, working together to promote good citizenship, offering aid to one another through all of our actions. We encourage a positive representation of all aspects of Greek life, both on campus and in the community.
As a Panhellenic community, our members will strive to encourage a strong network of friendship and support, bonding together to create harmony and promote lasting friendships. We will stand together to become one true sisterhood through an appreciation of each Panhellenic member, viewing these women as our fellow sisters in all of our actions.
As a Panhellenic community, it is our goal, especially during Recruitment, to put first the welfare of the potential new members. We will keep at the forefront of our minds the idea that we are benefiting our entire Panhellenic community, not just our individual chapters, as their success can only be enhanced by a positive Panhellenic Recruitment.
