Recruitment, Transition, and Retention
Diversity on a college campus is an energizing, dynamic force which is why WCU works to recruit and retain students from diverse backgrounds. ‘Experience Western’ brings students of color to WCU to get a feel for campus and the people who call it home. Part of retention is a successful transition to college which is why Western PEAKS and the Academic Success Programs are so important to a student’s experience here at WCU. Other student success programs include our mentoring, tutoring and academic enrichment centers.
