Music – Graduate Degree
Degrees Offered: Master of Music (M.M.), Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed.), Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.)

Program Description: The Master of Music (M.M.) program is an innovative and challenging curriculum in music that combines practical and academic studies. The unique core unites historical and theoretical approaches to the study of music.

The M.M. is ideal for those who wish to continue their performance studies in voice, woodwinds, brass, percussion, piano, piano pedagogy, MIDI synthesis, and Commercial and electronic music.

The Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed.) degree allows students already holding a bachelor's degree in music education to specialize in choral music, Orff-Schulwerk, or instrumental music, and it is designed for those planning careers in public education. It combines the foundations and principles of music education with experiences specifically designed to improve teaching skills.

The Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) degree allows those candidates holding a bachelors degree in music to earn a teaching license. Specializing opportunities are also available in choral music, Orff-Schulwerk, or instrumental music.
