The WCU Controller’s Office produces bills for registered students before each semester. If you have been awarded financial aid, all awards accepted by you, except work study, will be considered as a source of funds to cover the balance. The bill will list all university charges and estimated credits (expected financial aid).

If you are receiving more financial aid funds than the charges on your account, you will NOT need to make a payment. Your billing statement will reflect a negative balance. You should receive a refund of any excess funds approximately three weeks after school starts.

If your financial aid award funds do NOT cover your full charges, you must submit payment for the remaining balance by the payment deadline, to avoid having your classes dropped.
