The 2008-09 old-time and bluegrass music concert/jam session series at Western Carolina University will continue Thursday, Feb. 5, with a concert featuring multi-instrumentalist Vance Trull, followed by a jam session in which local musicians are invited to participate.

Large color photographs of objects once belonging to artist Jody Servon's deceased loved ones will be on exhibit from Tuesday, Jan. 27, through Saturday, March 7, at the Fine Art Museum at Western Carolina University. Servon will speak about her work at 4 p.m. Jan. 27 in Room 130 of the Fine and Performing Arts Center, with a reception and gallery talk to follow in the museum.
