Western Carolina University offers Ethics and HIV/AIDS workshops for Social Workers and other professionals. The sessions include
Introduction to Ethics in Substance Abuse Practice;
Advanced Issues in Ethics;
Introduction to HIV/AIDS and Other Communicable Diseases; and
Advanced Substance Abuse Practice, HIV/AIDS and Other Communicable Diseases. (online)
The workshops will be offered March 26-27, 2010. These courses are approved by the NC Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board (NCSAPPB). To receive full credit for each workshop, participants are expected to attend the entire session. Those who come late and/or leave early will have their credit hours adjusted to reflect actual attendance. You may register for individual workshops or the series online.
