    • GRE General Exam
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in art and art history courses completed at the junior-senior level
    • Three letters of recommendation
    • Letter of intent
    • M.A.Ed. in Art Education applicants must hold or be eligible for the North Carolina "A" teaching license in art

Prerequisites: The program is open to students with undergraduate degrees in fields other than business. However, at the time of the admissions decision the program director will list the undergraduate leveling courses needed by such students in order to provide an adequate background for the M.A.Ed. or M.A.T. programs. These courses will not count toward the graduate degree.
