The Chancellor's Advisory Council on Teacher Supply and Demand provides the Chancellor with recommendations regarding issues related to teacher (and other professional educators) supply and demand in the state of North Carolina. The council meets annually to develop ideas and strategies that assists Western in ensuring that all children of our state have a competent, qualified, and caring teacher.

This year's meeting will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Western Carolina University in 134 Cordelia Camp Building. At this year's event we will be highlighting our new Assistnt Director for Teacher Recruitment and Retention, Scott Cook, as well as talking about the Revisioning Process.
