Faculty Toolbox
The Writing and Learning Commons (WaLC) supports faculty members' efforts to maintain academic rigor in their classes by:
- Hiring and training course tutors – successful students recommended by you to work with specific classes
- Providing resources for teaching writing and research skills to students in all disciplines
- Facilitating in-class workshops on a variety of writing and academic skills
- Supporting thesis directors in their work with graduate students
Please include the WaLC syllabus statement in your course syllabus and link to us from your Blackboard course.
