The Eighteenth Annual Graduate Research Symposium & Graduate Research Competition
Thursday, March 11, 2010University Center
The Graduate Research Symposium and the Graduate Research Competition are two separate but complementary activities. The Symposium is a forum for graduate students to present the results of their graduate research, or in an area of academic interest to the student, to the Western community. The Research Competition is an opportunity for students to submit research (ie: written paper, artistic presentation, etc.) for blind review and ranking by Western faculty.
Students may enter either or both the Symposium and Research Competition. A presentation entered in the Competition must also be presented at the Symposium.
The deadline for submitting a proposal for the Graduate Research Symposium is Monday, February 8, 2010.
