The Western Carolina University Family Association is dedicated to promoting scholarship, leadership, and opportunity for current and prospective Western students. As a member, you can play a major role in improving communication among students, families, and Western. Through university-sponsored programs and activities, Family Association membership provides the perfect opportunity to positively impact your student's educational experience. Membership in the Family Association also allows families to provide financial support for Western students through the Family Association Scholarship Fund.
Family Association members play a key role in guiding the partnership between families and Western. Members provide feedback and input on Western programs and activities to help better improve Western’s service to students. Family Association members also receive bi-monthly e-newsletters with the latest information on events and programs at Western. Family Association membership dues and contributions are applied directly to the Family Association Scholarship fund. Students of Family Association members are given preference in the scholarship selection process.
