Hello WCU Families,
It’s difficult to believe but the year is half over! The holidays are behind us and spring will be here before you know it. During the fall we successfully combated the flu, moved students into Balsam, and ran some wonderful new programs for our students. We’re looking forward to an equally successful spring semester despite any curve balls Raleigh may send us budget-wise.
Based on feedback we had from Family Association members during the October Family Weekend, we will be holding a spring Family Weekend April 23 – 25, 2010. This is a new endeavor for us and we are very excited about the possibilities a spring Family Weekend involves. At this time, the theme for the weekend is ‘Full Circle’ and we will be planning a combination of recreational and educational programs and workshops. Please return to this website for additional information on the weekend over the next few weeks. We hope to have the weekend programs and workshops planned by early March.
To keep your student on track, be sure to research scholarship opportunities and complete the FAFSA to ensure your student receives the maximum amount of financial aid available to her/him. A list of scholarship website is included below.
